(Trenton)- Esix Snead`s two-out RBI single in the 8th Inning propelled the New Haven Ravens to a 3-2 win over the Thunder Friday night.

In the 8th Inning, Thunder starter Derrin Ebert gave up a leadoff single to Jason Bowers. He was sacrificed to 2nd base moved to 3rd base on a groundout. Snead poked a 2-0 pitch through the right side of the infield for the lead run.

Ebert (7-6) allowed three runs in eight innings, but was targeted with the loss.

Ravens starter Steve Stemle (6-8) allowed just two runs over eight innings to get the win. Freddy Sanchez got him for a solo homer in the 5th Inning for a 2-0 Trenton lead, but Stemle retired the final 11 hitters that he faced.

Trenton (60-64) took a 1-0 lead in the 4th Inning on a sacrifice fly by Mark Fischer. New Haven (44-80) came back to tie the game at 2-2 in the 7th Inning on a two-run homer by Andy Bevins, his 13th of the year.
