• An Unexpected Refuge
A wildlife preserve means a safe haven for the environment and its creatures. It started as an 85-acre tract in Buena Vista Township. Located in the Pinelands, it was purchased by a family to halt land development and to enable wildlife in the Southern New Jersey area to live in peace and tranquility. That was almost 44 years ago. Today, that 85-acre tract has grown into a 610-acre area of unspoiled Pinelands habitat that may continue to expand.

They don't have a secret handshake, initiation ritual or a fancy clubhouse, but 15 South Jersey companies have teamed up to offer a one-stop network of business solutions to entrepreneurs on the move.
The group is known as the Jersey Business Leaders, and its membership consists of South Jersey business owners willing to bring a consistency of effort and skill to challenges ranging from communications and construction to marketing and makeovers.

Anybody interested in some unique sports memorabilia may want to travel to Woodbury and visit The Gloucester County Historical Society’s Museum before the end of the month. That’s because the exhibit “Sports Memorabilia Mania” is in its final month and will conclude July 27.
