Celebrating Greatness
Earlier this month the top boys and girls high school soccer players were honored during the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association Annual banquet. First, second and third-team All-South Jersey players were selected for both the boys’ and girls’. In addition, a Player of the Year for each position was selected.

Not surprisingly, Shawnee, which won state championships in boys’ and girls’ soccer, had the most selections in both.

In girls’ soccer, Shawnee had five first-team choices, including two positional players of the year, and a third-team selection.

Shawnee’s boys had four first-team selections, including two positional players of the year, and two second-team selections.
