With the pandemic hopefully in our rearview mirror, events are returning in full force. We traveled around the area and headed down the Shore to find the best outdoor events and ways to enjoy summer in South Jersey. Consider this a handy guide to help you fill up your calendar from now to beyond Labor Day.

Rancocas Woods Craft & Antique Show
Come out to this outdoor market featuring more than 90 vendors selling handmade, antique and vintage goods. The event will also feature live music by local acts. Mount Laurel, 10 a.m-4 p.m.
Sept. 19
2021 Art, Wine & Music Festival
Head to Medford for a day of fine arts, crafts, wine and food. South Jersey wineries and local breweries will be scattered throughout the Main Street while live music fills the air. Other activities for the kids include face painters, balloon artists, performers and more. Medford, 11-4 p.m.

Washington Lake Park Wine & Music Festival
Noted as one of the best events to attend in Washington Township, visitors will be able to sample some of South Jersey’s top wineries while enjoying live music and offerings from several food trucks. Washington Township, Noon-4 p.m.
2021 Lori Poisker Memorial Pitman Craft Show
Explore Uptown Pitman as the community comes together to host over 200 crafters displaying their handmade items including jewelry, toys, clothing and more. There will also be fresh food vendors from local eateries. Pitman, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

You don’t want to miss the cutest parade in Cape May. The Baby Parade will start at Congress Street and Beach Avenue. The procession down Beach Avenue will conclude at the Convention Hall and end with an award ceremony. 10 a.m.

2021 National Lighthouse Day Craft and Collectibles Show
The Cape May Lighthouse will be the site for this show featuring a wide range of handmade pieces and local food vendors. There will also be live music and other family-friendly activities throughout the day. 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Margate Fall Funfest By The Bay
This celebration will have food, music and entertainment for all ages. Other activities include a character parade and the Catch the Wave Cornhole Tournament. Starting at 8 p.m., Funfest After Dark at the Margate Pier on Amherst Avenue will feature live entertainment and wine and beer tastings. Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. & Sunday 1-5pm.
OCEAN CITY

July 24
Night in Venice
The Night in Venice boat parade begins near the Ocean City-Longport toll bridge and travels along the bayside to Tennessee Avenue. Grandstands will be set up for viewers along the bay from Battersea Road to 16th Street, and also at Tennessee Avenue. This year’s theme will be “Honoring Our Heroes.” There will be fireworks after the parade. 6 p.m.
Aug. 5
Sand Sculpting Contest
Onlookers will want to get down to 6th Street to grab a good spot to catch these sand artists at work. 11 a.m.
Aug. 12
111th Annual Ocean City Baby Parade
Children ranging in age from newborns to 10 years old will strut their stuff down the Boardwalk in this parade that is one of the oldest in the country. 10:30 a.m.

Planes from the Classic Jet Aircraft Association will fly into Naval Air Station Aviation Museum in Rio Grande for an aeronautical display. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Boots on the Beach
This free outdoor country music festival, held on Olde New Jersey Avenue in the Entertainment District, is making its return after being canceled last year due to the pandemic. 1-10 p.m. (Sept. 17 and 18), Noon-4p.m. (Sept. 19)
