Mom, Son face Sentencing

by NBC10 | Nov 18, 2003
Mom, Son face Sentencing Sentencing is scheduled Monday for a Camden County man who ran a prostitution ring with the help of his mother.

Anthony Kirkland and Bernice Kirkland-Motley were convicted in June of operating an illegal prostitution network.

Authorities say the ring operated in Atlantic City, New York and Las Vegas and netted more than $500,000.

Anthony Kirkland was convicted of racketeering.

His 63-year-old mother was convicted of money laundering and conspiracy. She was a date entry employee at Commerce Bank for more than 16 years.

Kirkland faces more than 20 years in prison. His mother faces up to 14 years.
