Cherry Hill Resident Honored

The CAP designation signifies that the recipient has studied issues of advanced design, implementation, and management of charitable gift strategies; administration of gift programs and endowments; and such philanthropic tools as charitable trusts, private foundations, supporting organizations, donor-advised funds, and charitable gift annuities.
As sponsored research director at Rutgers-Camden, Morrison, 47, identifies and secures funding to support the research endeavors of faculty scholars and academic and outreach-oriented centers of excellence. She assists in the development of funding proposals for foundations and state and federal agencies; monitors regulatory compliance issues; and serves as a liaison between Rutgers-Camden and external agencies.
Morrison received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Rutgers-Camden in 1978 and her MBA from Temple University in 1983. She joined the Rutgers-Camden staff in 2002.
The American College is the nation's leading educator of professionals in the financial services industry. The CAP program advances charitable giving in the United States by offering graduate-level education to professionals in the non-profit and financial service fields who regularly work with the development of and implementation of charitable giving and philanthropic plans.
