Fred Hammond Plans to Wow
On Friday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. gospel music super star Fred Hammond is set to inspire attendees with a powerful performance at the South Jersey Performing Arts Center's Rand Theater, located at the Tweeter Center on the Camden Waterfront. Sponsored by CityArts On Stage, a collaborative season between the South Jersey Performing Arts Center (SJPAC) and the Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts (RCCA), tickets to the Fred Hammond concert cost $24 and $29. Hammond, who hails from Detroit, is considered one of the architects behind the new phenomenon in gospel music - urban-influenced praise and worship. Known for his soaring voice and songwriting talents, Hammond has 10 hit albums and has had more number one radio songs than any other gospel music artist.
Attendees can meet Hammond after the show during TalkBack Café, where gourmet coffee and pastries are available from Camden's City Coffee.
