Battleship Has Lots of Gifts for Dad! The Battleship New Jersey is armed and loaded with some great gifts for dad for Father’s Day!
Give the gift of Fire Power with a Guided or Audio Tour of our nation’s largest and most decorated battleship. Climb inside the legendary 16-inch gun turret, check out the bridge, witness a simulated launch of a tomahawk missile in the Combat Engagement Center, experience how the crew lived aboard this floating city and much more! Guided and audio tours are available every day, beginning at 9:30am with the last tour of the day departing at 5pm. Ticket prices are based on tours and range from $14 - $19.95.
Or, perhaps spend a night aboard with dad in the Battleship’s award-winning Overnight Encampment program. Guests can enjoy dinner and breakfast served “chowline-style” from the Crew’s Galley, experience a guided tour of the Battleship, ride the 4D Flight Simulator and sleep in the bunks that the crew of the USS New Jersey once did. The Overnight Encampment program is a family event and requires parents or a guardian with at least one child age 6 to 17. Prices for the Overnight Encampment is $52.95 per person. Or, if dad is a beer lover then he won’t want to miss the 15th Annual Garden State Craft Brewers Guild Beer Festival on the Battleship’s Fantail on Saturday, June 18 from 1pm to 5pm. Guests can enjoy a self-guided tour of the Battleship, take home a souvenir sampling mug, groove to the sounds of the Cabin Dogs and sample beer from 15 breweries from New Jersey. Or give dad tickets to the Battleship Blast on Saturday evening, June 25. This annual fundraiser features a delicious Surf and Turf Barbeque, open bar, live music and entertainment, a preview of the new Turret II Experience, and the best view of the fireworks over the Delaware River at dusk. The Blast will open for Turret II Experience preview tours at 4:30pm, the cocktail reception on the forecastle (forward deck) will begin at 5:30pm. Tickets for this vital fundraiser to help the Battleship are $200 per person. Tickets can be reserved by calling 1-866-877-6262 ext. 127.

The new Turret II Experience will open this July. Journey five decks below the main deck, plot a fire solution, load the massive 16-inch guns and some lucky guest will pull the trigger and simulate the firing of our nation’s largest naval gun!

Take the Waterfront Connection to the Battleship from Philadelphia beginning June 18. For just a $3 round-trip fare, guests in Philadelphia can pick up the shuttle at the Independence Visitors Center at 6th and Market Street.
