South Jersey Football Games of the Week
Friday

South Jersey Group 5 
(3) Kingsway (9-2) at (1) Atlantic City (9-1), 6 p.m.
Atlantic City has won seven in a row since its lone loss, 45-34 at Cedar Creek. The Vikings won their two playoff games over Cherokee and three-time defending state champion Toms River North by a combined 79-7. Sophomore quarterback Marvin Burroughs has thrown for 2,235 yards and 26 touchdowns. Kingsway advanced with a 28-7 semifinal win over No. 2 seed Southern Regional.

Central Jersey Group 1
(2) Shore Regional (8-2) at (1) Burlington City (10-1), 6 p.m.
Burlington City’s lone loss was to Group 3 Burlington Township, 8-0. Since then, the Blue Devils have won five in a row. In two playoff wins, the Blue Devils have outscored teams, 100-21. Senior Donte Davis has rushed for 469 yards and four touchdowns in the two playoff wins, giving him 1,824 yards and 23 touchdowns for the season. Shore has outscored its two playoff opponents, 64-6. Cole Torres rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns in Shore’s 30-6 semifinal win over Point Pleasant Beach. 

Central Jersey Group 2

(2) Wall (8-2) at Camden (8-2), 6 p.m.
Wall has won eight in a row after losing its first two games of the season. In the sectional semifinal, Wall defeated Rumson-Fair Haven, 17-13. That denied Rumson a berth in a sectional final for the first time since 2012. Camden has outscored its two playoff opponents, 99-6. Senior Ahmad Jones has thrown for 1,281 yards and 14 touchdowns in seven games. 

South Jersey Group 2
(3) Delran (10-1) at (1) Haddonfield (8-2), 7 p.m.
Delran’s lone loss was 22-10 to Burlington Township. The Bears had an impressive comeback in last week’s 28-20 semifinal win over West Deptford. Delran trailed 20-7 at halftime before a 21-0 second half. Vinny Sacca threw for 120 yards and a TD and ran for 157 yards and two scores. Sacca has thrown for 1,448 yards and 16 touchdowns and run for 733 yards and 13 touchdowns. Haddonfield was a 28-13 semifinal winner over Lower Cape May. Brody Leonard rushed for 234 yards and two scores and had a third touchdown on a 15-yard pass from Van Lefakis. Leonard has rushed for 956 yards and 10 touchdowns. In Haddonfield’s two playoff wins he has rushed for 377 yards and four TDs. 

Saturday

South Jersey Group 3
(4) Mainland (7-4) at (2) Cedar Creek (9-2), noon
Mainland beat No.1 seed Burlington Township, 15-13 in the semifinal, but it wasn’t considered a major upset. That is became Mainland competed in South Jersey’s top division, the WJFL American, that included heavyweights such as Winslow Township, Millville and St. Augustine. Jake Blum had five receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Mustangs in their semifinal win. Cedar Creek is coming off a 15-12 semifinal win over Pleasantville. Quarterback Frenchmon Bethea completed four passes, but two of them went for touchdowns. Running back Aamir Dunbar has rushed for 1,698 yards and 19 touchdowns for the Pirates.
