All the Spring`s a Stage at CCC

All the Spring`s a Stage at CCC Plays are the thing at Camden County College this spring. A children's show, a trio of one-act comedies and a Shakespearean tragedy will occupy the Blackwood Campus spotlight this semester.

Scheduled are: "The Adventures of Perseus," a McCarter Theatre production that's part of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance's AT&T Family Week, in Dennis Flyer Memorial Theatre, Lincoln Hall, at 3 p.m. March 10. A cast of puppets and marionettes will journey through the fantastical world of Greek mythology in a show appropriate for children aged 5 and older. Admission is free.

"An Evening of One-Acts," a production of Camden County College's new Stage II drama club, in The Little Theatre, Lincoln Hall, at 8 p.m. March 13 through 16. Slated are Anton Chekhov's "The Bear," Laverne Kehr's "The Board" and Christopher Durang's "The Actor's Nightmare." Tickets cost $3 and $6.

"Romeo and Juliet," a Camden County College Community Theatre production of William Shakespeare's timeless tale of tragic love, in Dennis Flyer Memorial Theatre, Lincoln Hall, at 8 p.m. May 3, 4, 10 and 11; and at 3p.m. May 5. Tickets cost: $3 and $7.
