Victoriana Eve Program Concludes Series

The “Under The Stars’’ Summer Concert Series sponsored by the Burlington County Freeholders at the County Park at Smithville will conclude on Tuesday, Aug. 5th with the traditional Victoriana Eve program at Smithville Park, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Victoriana Eve is a program that highlights the Victorian Era and will be highlighted by a performance by the H.B. Smith Cornet Band.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Smithville Mansion and include the Crosswicks Historic Dancers, the Wheelman Bicycle Club and a vocal performance by Burlington City High School junior Jenna Bramble.

In addition, the East Meets West art exhibit will be on display. Admission is $4 for adults, $3.50 for seniors and $2 for students. Refreshments will be sold. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Mansion at Smithville.

The Friends also are sponsoring a Victorian Dessert Tea in the Mansion Dining Room as part of the program. The $5 fee includes a tour of the Mansion as well as the dessert tea and features flutist Wendy Zoffer.
