* Every 2 minutes in this country someone is sexually assaulted.
* About 44% of rape victims are under the age of 18.
* Nearly 85% of sexual assaults are committed by someone the victim knows such as a family member, friend or acquaintance.

The CONTACT Rape Care Program serves men and women ages 12 and older, who have been a victim of any type of sexual assault. CONTACT has trained Rape Care Advocates who are available 24/7 for phone support, hospital and legal accompaniments. The CONTACT Rape Care Program also offers individual counseling by a staff therapist free of charge. If you need help or would like to help please call (856) 234-8888 or (609) 871-4700.

CONTACT’s 24-hour Helplines (856-234-8888, 856-234-3451, 609-267-8500 or 609-871-4700) have served the Burlington County community since 1972. CONTACT provides Crisis Intervention, Information & Referral, Rape Care & Sexual Assault Services, KidsLine, TeenLine, Reassurance “care calls,” PetFriends for grieving pet owners and Outreach & Education. Presentations are available on all programs---call our office for a speaker or further information. All services are confidential, non-judgmental and free of charge.
