Wet Nose Wine Tasting

by Press Release | Jan 28, 2007
Wet Nose Wine Tasting Don't miss the “Wet Nose Wine Tasting” at the Mount Holly Library, Sunday, February 25, from 4-7 pm. The beautiful Mount Holly Library at 307 High Street will be the site of a wine tasting fundraiser to support the medical fund of the Burlington County Animal Alliance. Taste wines from around the world and enjoy the guitar of Terry Rivel, while you help homeless pets in Burlington County and surrounding areas.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. All proceeds will go to the Burlington County Animal Alliance, who have saved over 1500 animals since they formed in 1999.

BCAA was recognized in 2004 by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders for their work in reducing the number of homeless animals in the county and proclaimed the all-volunteer animal advocacy and rescue group “a Red Cross for animals,” for their year-round effort in helping animals. The freeholders also acknowledged BCAA as a community partnering agency, assisting the County on improving the health and welfare of our residents and sheltered animals.

It costs BCAA thousands of dollars a month to feed and care for animals in their foster care program. Proceeds from the Wine Tasting will go directly to BCAA’s medical fund for veterinary costs to care for sick or injured animals in BCAA foster care and to ensure each animal who finds their forever home through BCAA will be spayed/neutered and current on all shots.

Get your advance tickets at Red White and Brew, 33 High Street in Mount Holly, or through the BCAA website at www.bcaaofnj.org. Contact Stacey at Red White and Brew for more information at 609-702-9949.
