It is also our vision to continue to perform at various theatres in the Delaware Valley as we are a travelling regional theater company.” say Randy Peterson, co-director of “Anton in Show Business.”

This savvy backstage comedy follows the adventures of a self-centered television actress, a jaded New Yorker and an enthusiastic ingénue who all arrive in Texas to star in a production of Anton Chekhov’s play “Three Sisters.”

“Anton in Show Business” takes you backstage in a fast-paced and remorseless look into the world of theater and it’s eccentric directors, inept producers, surgically beautified actors and egotistical critics. The all female cast of seven plays multiple roles including men in this hilarious comedy.

The production is being co-directed by Actor’s Core members Ray Croce of Cherry Hill and Randy Peterson of Westville. Ray is working on helping the actors develop their characters through improvisation and Randy is focusing on the deeper character work by developing their motivation and relationship to each other.

Technical direction by Ray Croce, Jr. of Cherry Hill. Costume design by Heather Mack of Oaklyn.
