THUNDER BATS WAKE UP IN 9-4 WIN Trenton pounded out 14 hits against Altoona pitching, including three hits by Angel Santos and two each by Garry Maddox, Virgil Chevalier and Tonanye Brown, in a 9-4 win over Altoona.

The two teams combined for 13 walks, six errors and 24 men left on base during the game.

Terrance Hill got the win with two shutout innings of relief.

The Thunder meet Altoona on Tuesday at 7:05 PM. Greg Montalbano (2-3) starts for Trenton against Altoona`s Steve Sparks (1-3).
