(Binghamton, NY)- Nick Maness and Jeremy Griffiths each tossed a complete game as Bionghamton swept a twin-bill from Trenton, 5-1 & 4-2, on Saturday.

Maness (6-12) held Trenton to one run and six hits in the opener for his first complete game of his pro career. The only run for the Thunder (67-73) came in the 5th Inning on an RBI double by Luis Garcia.

The Mets (71-68) smacked three homers in the first game. Allen Dina hia a two-run homer in the 1st Inning. Sammy Rodriguez and Aaon McNeal hit solo homers later in the game.

In Game #2, Griffiths (2-0) allowed two unearned runs in working his 2nd career complete game. He struck out eight Thunder hitters.

Trenton scored single runs in the 4th and 6th Innings, but couldn`t get the tying run in scoring position.

The two teams meet again on Sunday at 7:00 PM. Josh Garrett (3-5) starts for Trenton against the Mets Rene Vega.
