SJ Letters To NYC Firemen & Police

Thank you for making it safe for people to walk the streets again. I think what you’re doing, saving people and all is real heroic! I admire what you’re doing. It must be hard but an exciting job you have. I wanted to help but I am only 10 years old, so me and my mom put out our American flag and prayed before we went to bed. (My mom may also give blood.) You did a very brave thing. If I was 16, I would go to war. My friend’s uncle is missing. Can you try your hardest to find him? Keep the good work up. Are you going to fight the terrorists? Dear President Bush, On September 11, it was terrible because two airplanes crashed into the twin towers and one airplane crashed into the pentagon. I think NYC and Washington D. C. are very, very dangerous. I hope firefighters and policemen are safe. Regards, Phillip – 2nd grade

Our class is talking about the plane crash in NYC and in Washington D. C. I am very disappointed in the terrorists. You are doing a brave and important job. When this terrible event happened, I felt very sad, bad, mad but happy because my Uncle worked in the WTC, and missed his train by two minutes. I’m not happy because the planes crashed. You are soooooooo brave. I’m glad you could help. You guys are AWESOME! Ryan – 3rd grade.
