If I have another week against the spread like I did last week, I’ll be the Washington Redskins of football forecasting. Special thanks to the Chargers, Dolphins and Broncos for there inspired efforts last week (nice chokes). My big comeback starts this weekend. Can the Eagles finally knock off the Giants?

Baltimore (minus 7½) at Cleveland
Wake up call for the Browns, that truck that hit you was actually Ray Lewis. Ravens 24 - Browns 20

Atlanta (plus 8½) at New Orleans
The Saints are solid, not spectacular. Atlanta is neither. Saints 27 - Falcons 21

New England (plus 10½) at Indianapolis
REVENGE! Colts in a blow out. Colts 31 - Patriots 17

Chicago (plus 1) at Cincinnati
A close, if not an exciting game. Are either of these teams for real? Bears 19 - Bengals 16

Green Bay (minus 3) at Minnesota
Hello – will the real Vikings please stand up? Nah. Packers 30 – Vikings 26

Denver (minus 2½) at San Diego
What’s the deal with these two teams? Who will be Dr. Jeckyl and who is Mr. Hyde this week? Broncos 27 – Chargers 23

St. Louis (minus 7) at New York Jets
De JA vu’ against New York (the other NY) for the Rams in a squeakier. Rams 31 – Jets 27

Carolina (minus 3½) at Washington
Pew! What stinks in here? Oh, it’s these two teams. Panthers 20 – Redskins 17

Tennessee (minus 6) at Detroit
In Detroit, so it stays close. Titans 24 – Lions 23

Kansas City (minus 2) at Arizona
It’s time for Vermeil to put up with this team – Jake can’t pull it out. Chiefs 28 – Cardinals 23

Pittsburgh (plus 6) at Tampa Bay
Bucs pull it out at home – Kordell is not the man. Bucs 20 – Steelers 17

Philadelphia (plus 3) at New York Giants
E-A-G-L-E-S…..EAGLES! The streak ends now!!!! Two teams not happy with their last game fight it out hard, but the Birds have more weapons this year and had an extra week to prepare and get mad about their last loss. Eagles 23 – Giants 21
