Authorities Searching for Odor Causes

by NBC10 | Nov 18, 2003
Authorities Searching for Odor Causes Authorities still don't know what caused the odor that forced the evacuation of an Atlantic County mall Saturday night.

The Hamilton Mall reopened Sunday morning after being closed Saturday night at about 8:30. Some employees had reported experiencing nausea, dizziness and eye irritation.

A search of the mall early Sunday morning yielded no conclusive evidence.

Atlantic County officials told the Press of Atlantic City that the mall was safe and free of dangerous substances.

But some employees reported their symptoms returned when they came back to work.

Hamilton Township police ruled out the possibility of bio-terrorism.
