Fins for the Future

You and your family can join Adventure Aquarium and Clean Ocean Action for a Clean Beach Sweep on Saturday, April 29th, 9:00a.m.-12:30p.m. Adventure Aquarium is the Official Sponsor of COA's 2006 Ventor, New Jersey beach cleanup site, just south of Atlantic City.

Volunteers will meet at 9am at the Ventor Public Library at 6500 Atlantic Avenue. Please note that supplies are limited and registration is required. Dress for the weather, bring work gloves, and wear hard-soled shoes. Other supplies will be provided by COA.

Data collected during the cleanup will be used to educate citizens about the dangers associated with marine debris, including specific information on debris found on New Jersey's shores. Adventure Aquarium and Clean Ocean Action hope that this one-day event becomes a legacy of ocean protection.
