Help Battle Prostate Cancer

Help Battle Prostate Cancer Knights of Columbus Villa Marie Council 6342 of Absecon-Galloway has decided to take a shot at prostate Cancer and hold a closest-to-the-pin contest for Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer at its 4th annual “United in Charity” Golf tournament set for 12noon, October 4th, 2006 at Mays Landing Country Club.

Ray Williams Grand Knight of Council said “the partnership with Arnie’s Army and the Arnold Palmer Foundation will help us raise money and awareness in battles of prostate cancer”. The Prostate Cancer Foundation is the world’s largest philanthropic source of support for prostate cancer research and has raised $260 million dollars and providing funding for prostate cancer research to more than 1,200 research projects at 100 institutions. The goal is to find better treatments and a cure for recurrent prostate cancer.
