'Stitch Between The Pitch' Attendees of the Camden Riversharks game on Wednesday, August 16 will be witnessing history as the inaugural launch of "Stitch Between The Pitch" takes place.

A collaborative effort between the Camden Riversharks and Custom Yarns By Linda, this event will highlight the unique combination of baseball and the needlearts. Visitors are invited to bring their knitting, crochet and needlepoint projects as a special section has been reserved just for them. A fashion show between innings with new fall garments will be presented.

"America loves baseball and knitting, so why not combine the two," said Linda Ostroff, owner of Custom Yarns. "It is a real misperception to think that knitters do not appreciate baseball - we do! This event brings together America’s favorite past time with its favorite hobby." "Take me out to the ball game will have a new spin after this as we bring fashion from the dug out to the pitcher’s mound," said Ostroff. "This is a fun time for the entire family and I believe we have a grand slam home run!."
