Our Favorite Flavored Plants

by Press Release | Aug 24, 2006
Our Favorite Flavored Plants On Saturday, August 26th, the Camden Children’s Garden will host a delicious daytime event dedicated to two of nature’s most flavorful plants – chocolate and vanilla. Visitors can learn and enjoy the plants that produce their favorite flavors! Garden guests can also enjoy great entertainment by Singer & Storyteller Dawn Antonis at 1:00pm and at 3:00pm the Angelic Praise and Mind Dance Ministry will perform. We also have many delectable desserts donated from generous sponsors: Tastykake’s treats, Starbucks of Cherry Hill Mall’s coffee and other goodies, and enjoy a fountain of flavor, donated by Simply Done Chocolate Fountains of Woodbury, NJ. Visitors can also make creative crafts with these mouth-watering flavors, such custom decorating a cookie, a Chocolate Kiss Craft, a smell test, a storybook reading and cool concessions. Garden visitors can take NJ Transit or the RiverLINE directly to the Camden Children’s Garden.

Chocolate and Vanilla Flavor Festival is part of Camden Children’s Garden’s Second and Fourth Saturday Series which are held 11:00 am– 4:00 pm.
