Buy Lemonade, Support Cancer Research

by Press Release | Apr 17, 2007
Buy Lemonade, Support Cancer Research Want to chase away the nor’easter blues? Rutgers-Camden students will offer cups of springtime refreshment that also will help to fight childhood cancer when the student-run Management Association at the Rutgers-Camden School of Business sponsors Alex’s Lemonade Stand in front of the Rutgers-Camden Campus Center.

The Rutgers-Camden students will accept donations for each 12-ounce cup of lemonade. The funds will support Alex's Lemonade Stand, which was started by Alexandra Scott when she was four and now is an organization devoted to helping find a cure for childhood cancer. Alex fought a brave and inspirational fight before she passed away and left behind a legacy with an organization that has swept through the country.

This event will take place on Tuesday, April 17, from 11am until 1:30pm at the Campus Center, Third Street between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers-Camden campus.
