CCG To Honor Long-Time Supporters, Youth The Camden City Garden Club will host its Second Annual Garden Party & Champions of Children Awards on Friday, June 8 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at The Camden Children’s Garden.

The night will include honoring four long-time supporters of The Camden Children’s Garden; Louis Greenwald, Assemblyman of the 6th Legislative District, George Norcross, III, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Commerce Banc Insurance Services, Inc., Public Service Electric and Gas Company and Subaru of America Foundation.

The Camden Children’s Garden will also highlight four exceptional youth who participated in our youth programs and blossomed into successful young adults; Natalie Gorman, Maya Johnson, Jorge Rivera and Nohemi Soria.

Along with the awards ceremony, The Camden Children’s Garden will host a silent auction throughout the evening. A large number of wonderful items have already been received including a Ryan Howard autographed baseball, other sports memorabilia, garden books and items and more.

The Camden Children’s Garden wants you to…Come Outside and Play! The Garden is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day (except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day). Admission to the Garden is $6 for adults, $4 for children (age 3 -11) and free for children two years and under. This 4.5-acre garden features a variety of themed educational exhibits for children, including the Dinosaur Garden, Storybook Gardens, Red Oak Run and Tree House, Cityscapes Garden and more. Enjoy great indoor attractions including the Philadelphia Eagles Four Seasons Butterfly House, the NEW Benjamin Franklin Exhibit and Plaza de Aibonito, a Puerto Rican tropical exhibit.
