Cigar Dinner Benefit for United Way
The best times in life come when enjoying the best the world has to offer — all while helping out a worthwhile cause. Such is the case when on Thursday, October 23 JP Prime Steakhouse — Southern New Jersey’s best destination for up-market cuisine and world-class steaks — hosts a decadent star-studded Cigar Dinner Benefit to raise money for an organization that tirelessly comes to the assistance of so many — The United Way of Cape May County. At JP Prime’s July ’08 Cigar Dinner Benefit, celebrities such as Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jon Runyan, former star Philadelphia Flyer Brian Propp and former Eagle and famed sportscaster Ron Jaworski dined with guests, posed for pictures and signed autographs. Entrance to this exclusive dinner event is a donation of $120. Included is a fabulous three-course, three-cigar dinner, featuring homemade pumpkin gnocchi in a saffron beurre blanc, savory pork osso bucco, and completed with juicy tomahawk steak and mashed sweet potatoes. Guests will be able to take home an additional indulgence — a hand-rolled cigar — as well as purchase a commemorative book of professionally shot photos from that night’s event. Additionally, cigar-rolling demonstrations by Honduran expert Luis Cortez of Cortez Cigars and personal shoe shines will add to the evening’s appeal and luxury experience. JP Prime is one of New Jersey’s smoke and cigar friendly establishments, with an outdoor patio that is climatized to match the seasons while keeping the highest air quality for those who don’t indulge. JP Prime Steakhouse is arguably the most stylish restaurant in Southern New Jersey. A sophisticated and modern backdrop and award-winning wine list complete the upscale dining experience of world-class steaks, inspired fish and updated steakhouse classics. JP Prime Steakhouse is located at 206 Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood; make a reservation for the Cigar Dinner at (609) 729-4141; www.jprestaurantgroup.com
