Nashua Rock The Surf Sam Horn`s grand slam in the 6th inning proved to be more than enough to power the Nashua Pride (10-4) to 10-1 victory over the Atlantic City Surf (7-7) Saturday night at The Sandcastle.

Horn went 1-4 with 5 RBI`s. The Surf`s Brian Hunter continues to play well going 1-3 with a solo home run in the 5th. Atlantic City`s pitchers issued 11 walks and one hit batter on the night.

A crowd of 2,570 was on hand for Armed Forces Night, in which the Surf wore special camouflage jerseys, which were auctioned off after the game.

The Surf face the Nashua Pride again on Sunday at 2:05 PM. Next week, May 22, 6:35; May 23, 6:35; and May 24 at 11:05, the Newark Bears come to town with former major league slugger Jose Canseco.
