Surf Sweep Pride The Atlantic City Surf shutout Nashua 6-0 to complete a sweep of the defending Atlantic League champions.

Surf starter Sam Ali, usually a reliever, pitched a complete game two hit shutout. Al Drumheller took the mound for the Pride and gave the Surf an early lead in the 1st by loading the bases and allowing Maleke Fowler to score on a sacrifice fly.

Keith Gordon blasted a solo shot in the 2nd, his seventh of the season, bringing the score to 2-0. Gordon added an RBI double in the 6th, making the score 3-0. The Surf scored two runs in the 8th and added one in the 9th, putting away Nashua.

Drumheller recieved his first loss of the season and Ali earned his second win. The Surf begin a three game series today at 2:05 against the Somerset Patriots
