by Trenton Thunder | Jun 14, 2001
THUNDER WIN, BUT DUCHSCHERER TRADED TO TEXAS Trenton beat Harrisburg, 5-2, Tuesday night, but the game was overshadowed by the news that former Thunder pitcher Justin Duchscherer had been traded to the Texas Rangers.

Duchscherer, who was scheduled to make his first start for Pawtucket (AAA) on Thursday, was traded for Doug Mirabelli, a catcher who will no doubt go to Boston.

The Thunder continue their series with Harrisburg tonight and will return home on Friday, June 15 to face the Akron Aeros. Tickets are still available for all games of this upcoming six game homestand.
