SURF SLAM SHARKS The Atlantic City Surf (24-20) put together a six-run third inning and a masterful performance by starter Tom Taylor to blank the Camden Riversharks (18-26) 7-0 Wednesday night at the Sandcastle.

Atlantic City’s George West knocked a grand slam in the third to give the Surf the lead they would maintain for the remainder of the contest.

Taylor (1-0), a newly acquired minor league veteran, pitched seven innings allowing no runs on only two hits, while striking out four.

The Surf increased their lead in the “Expressway Series” to 5-3. The Surf will finish its series with Camden 7:05 PM Thursday night at the Sandcastle.
