FOWLER THE HERO, SURF WIN 7-6 Maleke Fowler`s RBI single scoring Jose Velazquez gave the Atlantic City Surf a 7-6 victory over the Long Island Ducks Friday night at The Sandcastle.

Alex Llanos had an RBI double in the seventh to give the Surf a 6-5 lead. The Ducks then tied the game in the ninth with a double that scored Anton French.

AC had back-to-back homers twice in the game, in the fourth by Brian Hunter and Emison Soto and again in the fifth by Enoel Polanco and Keith Gordon.

Surf DH Jose Velazquez went 4-4 with three doubles, tying a Surf record.
