AEROS TAKE 3RD STRAIGHT FROM THUNDER

(Akron, OH)- Jon Hamilton drove in three runs and Zach day worked six innings en route to Akron beating Trenton, 8-3, on Thursday.
The Aeros (35-43)jumped out to a 5-2 lead after four innings. Thunder starter Jason Sekany (1-3) surrendered eight hits during those four innings. hamilton had RBI in his first three plate appearances, including two hits and a sacrifice fly.
Trenton (37-39) closed to within 5-3 in the 6th Inning on Virgil Chevalier`s second solo homer of the night.
Akron put the game away with a solo homer from Corey Erickson in the 7th Inning and two unearned runs in the 8th Inning.
Zach Day allowed three runs on seven hits over six innings for the win. Chris Reinike worked the final three innings for his 5th save.
The teams will wrap up their series on Friday night at 7:05 PM. Derrin Ebert (5-4) starts for Trenton against Akron`s Jason Stanford (4-3).
