THUNDER FALL IN 10 INNINGS, 1-0 New Britain`s Gabby Torres picked up an infield hit with the bases loaded in the 10th Inning for a 1-0 win over Trenton on Friday night.

Trenton is now 5 1/2 games out of 1st Place as they head to Portland for a three-game series.

Trenton starter Casey Fossum pitched seven shutout innings and allowed two hits, but got a no-decision. The Thunder were 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position.

Trenton returns to action at Waterfront Park after the All-Star Break against Portland on July 12th.
