SURF BLAST CAMDEN ATLANTIC CITY – The Atlantic City Surf offense amassed fifteen hits and starter Sam Ali pitched his league leading third complete game of the season as the Surf (2-1) defeated the Camden Riversharks (1-2) 10-3 Sunday night at the Sandcastle.

The Surf`s Jose Velazquez hit a base clearing double with the bases loaded in the fourth inning to give the Surf a 4-3 edge over Camden, a lead they would hold on to for the remainder of the game. Atlantic City also took advantage of four Camden errors, as four of their runs were unearned.

Outfielder Willy Hill made a successful debut with the Surf, going 3-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Seven Surf players had at least two hits in the contest.

The Surf now lead the Riversharks 8-4 in the Atlantic City Expressway Series sponsored by SJTA. The Surf continue play Tuesday vs. Lehigh Valley, 7:05 p.m. at the Sandcastle.
