Surf Slip Past Lehigh Valley Atlantic City -- Atlantic City rightfielder Will Pennyfeather`s two-run homer in the eighth inning proved to be enough to lift the Surf past Lehigh Valley 5-4 Tuesday night at The Sandcastle.

Shortstop Jack Joffrion homered in the fifth for the Surf, his fourth of the season. Aaron Lane picked up the win for Atlantic City, giving up four runs (two earned) and scattering five hits in seven and 1/3 innings pitched.

Frank Johnson gets the loss for Lehigh. The Surf`s Randi Mallard picked up his seventh save this year. AC had a 5-1 lead going into the eighth, when Francisco Lebron hit a two-run single and Hector Kuilan hit home Victor Gutierrez on a fielder`s choice.

The two teams play again tomorrow at The Sandcastle, game time 7:05.
