High Pitches Well, But Surf Fall 3-2 Atlantic City – Atlantic City starter Andy High pitched excellent but the Surf fell to Lehigh Valley 3-2 Wednesday night at The Sandcastle.

High went 6.1 innings giving up two runs on six hits and struck out nine. Pat Dunham walked Asbel Ortiz with the bases loaded in the eighth inning to score John Adams.

Shortstop Jack Joffrion went 2-3 with a run scored for the Surf. Doug Wall picked up the win for Lehigh Valley (5-3), Dunham the loss (0-3).

The teams finish the series tomorrow at The Sandcastle, with a Little Person`s Special 11:05 start.
