Ducks Sweep Surf ATLANTIC CITY – A complete game from Surf pitching coach/player Mitch Williams was not enough as the Long Island Ducks (11-10) beat the Atlantic City Surf (11-10) 4-2 Sunday night at the Sandcastle.

The win completed a three-game sweep of the Surf. The Ducks scored three runs on five straight hits in the third inning off Williams (4-1).

Francisco Morales gave Long Island an extra insurance run with his solo homer in the ninth.

Emison Soto hit his 17th homer in the seventh inning. Ducks starter Ray Ricken threw seven innings, allowing two runs on just five hits while striking out seven Surf batters.
