Pledger Helps Fish Defeat Surf BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Kinnis Pledger went 4-4 with two doubles and four RBI`s to lead the Bridgeport Bluefish (16-7) over the Atlantic City Surf (11-11) 11-8 Tuesday night in Bridgeport.

The Surf remain one game behind first-place Somerset in the South Division, following the Patriots 6-0 loss to the Nashua Pride, also on Tuesday night.

Mike Guilfoyle struck out the only two batters he faced in the ninth to record his 18th save of the year. Will Pennyfeather homered for the Surf.

The Surf and the Bluefish continue their series tonight, 7:05 p.m. in Bridgeport.
