Surf Get Sunk Atlantic City – Jose Malave`s homer in the seventh inning proved to be enough to lift the Bridgeport Bluefish past the Atlantic City Surf 1-0 Friday night in Atlantic City.

The loss was the Surf`s seventh straight. Len Picota pitched well for the win going eight innings giving up no runs on five hits and struck out nine. Atlantic City starter Aaron Lane also pitched well, giving up one run on six hits and struck out seven.

Alex Llanos went 3-4 with a double for the Surf. Game two of the series is tomorrow at 7:05.
