Somerset Sweep Doubleheader SOMERSET, NJ -- The longest losing streak in Atlantic City history reached 11 games Tuesday night as the Somerset Patriots swept a doubleheader with the Surf, 2-0 in game one and 5-2 in game two.

Patriot pitcher Robert Dodd picked up the win in game one striking out 10 batters in six innings. Centerfielder Michael Warner went 2-3 with an RBI in the game. Atlantic City`s Zac Stark went the distance in the loss, giving up two runs on six hits.

Steve Renko got the win in game two, giving up just one run on two Surf hits in five innings. Mitch Williams got his second-straight loss, giving up five runs on seven hits in five innings. His record falls to 4-2. Will Pennyfeather hit a homerun for the Surf. The teams finish their three-game series Wednesday in Somerset.
