Rowan`s Westby Gallery Kicks off Season With Student Show

Glassboro – A new season begins at Westby Art Gallery on the campus of Rowan University. Kicking off the schedule is “Core Review: Select Exhibition of Student Work,” on display From Sept. 4 to 21st.

Featured in the gallery are selected works created by last year`s freshman art students in their core review courses. More than 26 students are represented in this exhibit of one – and two - dimensional works in a variety of media.

The pieces on view were chosen as the result of a selection process handled by a committee of Rowan university art faculty members.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday Sept. 13th. From 4p.m. to 6p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Westby Art gallery is located in Westby Hall on the campus Of Rowan University. Admission is free and gallery hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 10a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; For additional information, call the gallery at 856.256.4250.
