Former Miss Am CEO Wins Case

Former Miss Am CEO Wins Case The former head of the Miss America Pageant has won a summary judgment in his lawsuit against pageant officials.

Robert Renneisen Jr. claims the pageant breached a confidential agreement reached when he resigned his post last year.

The former casino executive will receive an undisclosed settlement.

Renneisen served as the pageant's CEO for two years before he stepped down in March.

The separation agreement called for the parties to keep the deal confidential. If one did discuss the deal publicly, the other could go to court and seek a $100,000 judgment against the other.

Renneisen claimed his successor had improperly mentioned his name.
