MVS Worker Arrested

Linda M. Love of Willingboro, N.J., was arrested on her way to work and charged with conspiracy to commit identity document fraud. She was to appear in U.S. District Court in Newark Wednesday afternoon.
According to court documents, Love and an unnamed co-conspirator generated at least 13 fake licenses at the Mount Holly center between Sept. 2 and Sept. 15. On each occasion, Love was the only examination technician on duty at the time, and was responsible for overseeing written driver's permit tests on computer screens, according to an FBI affidavit.
According to the affidavit:
On Sept. 2, a co-conspirator, whose name was not revealed in court papers, approached Love at the test-taking counter and took five separate exams, passing each one. These tests resulted in driver's licenses being issued in the names of people in Beverly, Edgewater Park and Mount Laurel, N.J. It could not immediately be determined if the names in which the licenses were issued were fictitious.
On Sept. 10, the co-conspirator took three more successful tests at the center, resulting in licenses being issued in the names of people in New Brunswick, Eastampton and Willingboro, N.J.
On Sept. 15, the co-conspirator took five more tests, resulting in licenses being issued to people in Burlington, Hamilton, Mount Holly, Hightstown and Pemberton, N.J.
Dave Weinstein, a spokesman for the motor vehicle division, said terrorism does not appear to have been involved in the case. Additional arrests are expected, he said.
