The Young Americans are returning

by Press Release | Jul 28, 2005
The Young Americans are returning The Young Americans, who four times before took South Jersey by storm, return in September 2005! Forty talented performers will bring the newest version of their National Music Outreach Tour to Mainstage Center for the Arts on September 15-17. In the fall of ‘02, over 350 local youth sang and danced their way through this impressive three day performance workshop in voice, dance, and all aspects of performing arts. The event was capped off by a wonderfully entertaining two-hour public show by both the kids and the Young Americans.

This year’s three-day Performance Workshop, sponsored one again by the Mainstage Center for the Arts, is open to area youth entering 4th through 12th grade in the fall. The workshop will concentrate on voice, dance, and performance techniques under the helpful eyes of the Young Americans and their staff. The entire event will take place in and around the Dennis Flyer Theatre, on the Blackwood Campus of Camden County College including the final performance featuring all participants.

Demand for this year’s Young Americans National Music Outreach Tour promises to be great. Registration is $75. Registration materials are available on line at www.Mainstage.org or by calling the Mainstage Center for the Arts Box Office at (856) 227-3091.
