by Press Release | Dec 9, 2005
Garden and Aquarium Share New Gate On Saturday, December 10, at 10am, the Camden Children’s Garden and Adventure Aquarium announce the official opening of the new gate and a ticket booth that now joins these two facilities. The opening will be officiated by the Adventure Aquarium’s mascot Bert and the Camden Children’s Garden’s Mum Bear. We are welcoming visitors to attend the announcement and the first twenty-five visitors that come through the new gate on December 10th will receive a free token to enjoy the Garden’s Commerce Carousel, the Arrow River Train Ride, or the new Spring Butterfly Ride, the Garden’s permanent amusements.

The ticket booth and the gate were built by the Camden City Garden Club staff with assistance from the Youth Employment and Job Training Program. This program has classroom-style training, college preparation education, job experience and field trips year-round and employs high school and college students from the Camden Community.

The installation of the ticket booth will allow visitors more options in purchasing tickets for the Camden Children's Garden and Adventure Aquarium. "We are very happy to be working with the Camden Children's Garden to offer guests of Adventure Aquarium the ability to purchase tickets to both great attractions," said Greg Charbeneau, Executive Director of Adventure Aquarium.
