Pushcart Players’ Little Red Riding Hood & Other Stories is an enchanting collection of classic tales – “Little Red Riding Hood,” “The Emperor's New Clothes,” ‘The Princess and the Pea” and Hans Christian Anderson's “All's Well That Ends Well.” Innovative settings and sing-along songs provide the perfect opportunity for involvement and participation in this first theatre-going experience. Each story is precious with just the right blend of faraway fantasy and contemporary reality. The wonder and magic of live theatre will cast its spell on very young viewers as they journey into the imaginary world of “Little Red Riding Hood” and other Once Upon A Time favorites!

“Parents and children were delighted . . . they loved the show!” declared Sister Bernadette Mary, Director, Trinity Academy at Roseland Early Childhood Center. Pushcart Players is currently celebrating its 32nd season of stirring up serious fun - not only throughout most of the U.S., but also in the former Soviet Union, in the Czech Republic and in two guest appearances at the White House. The dynamic company is the recipient of an Emmy nomination for two prime time specials on WCBS-TV; and numerous awards for excellence and innovation in the development of theatre for young audiences.

This presentation is a joint project sponsored by the Stockton Performing Arts Center, one of New Jersey’s major cultural organizations, and the Atlantic County Branch of the American Association of University Women. For our patrons with special needs, the Stockton Performing Arts Center offers wheelchair accessible seating, large type programs, and listening assistive devices.
