Film Society forms in Cape May

by Press Release | Mar 21, 2007
Film Society forms in Cape May The New Jersey State Film Festival is working with a dedicated group of movie goers to support the formation of a “film enthusiasts” group called The Cape Island Film Society. “Members of the group will receive special discounts, private screenings and workshops as part of their membership,” said Lynda Cogswell, Board Member of the Film Festival. “Everyone is invited to join the group,” continued Cogswell. Membership dues are $35 per person and get members into special events exclusive to the group. Year round festival events will also be discounted by 10%. “The film festival holds special events throughout the year and will now add some Members Only activities as well,” said Joe Stinson, Artistic Advisor to the festival. “We are excited about the possibilities for this special group and have been really excited about the initial response. This is a great forum for film lovers and film buffs to “talk film.” For more information on this new opportunity, contact the Film Festival office at 609-884-6700 or visit www.njstatefilmfestival.com.

The New Jersey State Film Festival at Cape May is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and inspire students toward achieving their dreams in the film industry, to highlight and showcase amazing films by New Jersey artists and to support regional economic development by enhancing cultural tourism.
