STAF Spay Day in National Park

by Press Release | Jul 31, 2008
STAF Spay Day in National Park Save The Animals Foundation will hold their next low cost Spay Day on Wednesday, August 13, at the Public Works building, Woodlawn Ave., in National Park, NJ (Gloucester County)

Have your cat spayed or neutered by a licensed veterinarian on AWA's mobile surgical unit.

Our low $55 charge per cat, male or female, includes rabies and distemper shots. Female spays include absorbable sutures. Eartipping for ferals is available.

Hurry and sign up! Space is limited. Appointments are required. Arrival time will be 8:30 to 10:30 am - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!

Please call 856-218-8437 to reserve your cat's space.

Very important note - It is essential that your cat arrives in a secure carrier, fastened properly.

(Our next clinics will be September 17 in Vineland, NJ and October 15 in Gloucester City, NJ)

In addition to STAF's Spay Day Clinics, STAF works with a number of veterinarians in the South Jersey area who cooperate with our low-cost spay/neuter program and accept our certificates as payment for the surgery.

Most of these doctors will require additional payment from you to cover the costs of an office visit and inoculations. We feel that it is essential for the health of your animal to have a complete physical examination and treatment for any medical conditions. The spay/neuter certificate does not cover any of these additional charges, and you will need to arrange payment with the doctor's office.

If you choose to use the services of Animal Welfare Association's spay/neuter clinic in Voorhees, NJ, there will not be any additional charge for an office visit or the spay/neuter surgery. If the cat needs rabies and/or distemper inoculations, or absorbable sutures, that will be noted on your certificate and will be included at no additional charge. For dogs, there will be an additional $10 charge for shots. You will have to make arrangements with your own veterinarian for a physical examination or any other needed treatment, as this is not included at AWA's clinic.

STAF certificates may not be used in conjunction with declawing or cosmetic surgery (including ear cropping and tail docking).

Please arrange to have the spay or neuter as soon as possible. Remember to notify the veterinarian's office that you are using a certificate from STAF to pay for the surgery. To purchase a certificate or for answers to any other questions, call Diana at 856-582-3661, email drmalc@comcast.net, or leave a message on STAF's answering machine at 856-218-7006 and we will be happy to assist you.
