(Erie, PA)- Erie hit four home runs, including three in the 3rd Inning, en route to a 12-7 win over the Thunder on Saturday night.

With the game tied at 3-3, Erie (50-24) got a solo shot from Eric Munson and a two-run homer from Mike Rivera off Jason Sekany for a 6-3 lead. A solo shot by Kurt Airoso later in the inning made it 7-3 and sent Sekany (1-2) to the showers.

Rivera added another homer in the 4th Inning to give him a league-best 23 home runs and 67 RBI. The SeaWolves also got three hits and 2 runs scored from Alejandro Freire as part of their 15-hit attack.

Trenton (36-36) also had 15 hits on the night, but just one homer. It was a solo shot by Steve Lomasney in the 2nd Inning. Lomasney had three hits and two RBI. LF Tonanye Brown also had three hits and an RBI.

Nate Cornejo (9-3) got the win for Erie, but allowed four runs and 10 hits over six innings.
