Heavy Snow Expected During the day today, low pressure is going to move due east so during the day, we won't see rain or snow. Thursday afternoon, we'll actually get some sunshine.

And then this evening, it's going to start coming our way. Some snow will start arriving to the south by late this afternoon. Warmer air dragging up to the north with the storm system that will limit snow amounts in parts of southern Delaware and extreme southern New Jersey, where we'll see some mixing of snow and sleet.

But for the Delaware Valley, it's mostly just going to be snow. And it could be anywhere from 6 inches to 9 inches. Most of us should wind up with 6 inches. A few spots will see up to 9 inches. And 3 to 6 inches or less for parts of Cape May county and extreme southern Delaware.

For today, it will be 32 degrees this afternoon. The five-day forecast keeps the snow with us Thursday night and into tomorrow morning. But then tomorrow afternoon, that snow is going to take a break.

The low pressure is heading away from us and it will head up to 35 with some sunshine tomorrow afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy on Saturday after morning sunshine. We'll warm up to 40 degrees on Saturday afternoon.
